It is nothing more or less than polyester fabric with a TPU coating that makes it waterproof and easy to clean . We specifically chose Biothane®Beta because it is a recent version that uses a softer vinyl coating to ensure a soft touch when in contact with the animal. Offers durability , abrasion resistance and flexibility even in cold temperatures. Other important features are being hypoallergenic and not absorbing odors .
Biothane is generally known for having a Vegan Leather . It wouldn't make sense for us to work with any other material!

Estou muito impressionada com as coleiras earth dog gear. Comecei por comprar para a minha boxer que sofre de alergias e muitas vezes se coçava na zona do pescoço e tal deixou de acontecer entretanto comprei para a minha Jack Russell que também devido a alergia sofre imenso com a presença da coleira. FAQs
WHAT IS BIOTHANE®?
HOW LONG WILL BIOTHANE® LAST?
Under normal use , Biothane® will outlast leather and nylon .
how do you wash it?
To wash correctly, simply rinse with warm water and dishwashing detergent and use a toothbrush to help if necessary.
Drying all hardware very well is mandatory to prolong its shiny and avoid corrosion .
Let it act in warm water and detergent if the dirt is firmly stuck.
To remove stubborn stains we recommend using a magic sponge or a small amount of alcohol . Be sure to rinse the equipment thoroughly with water and dish soap before using it again.
Although Biothane is easy to clean, it can still get dirty. Remember that lighter colors will show stains and dirt more easily and will require more frequent cleaning to maintain their appearance!
Always go through fresh water after adventures in the salty sea (which should ideally be avoided due to the high salt content).
Hardware care
It is mandatory to dry all metal parts very well in order to prolong the shiny appearance of the hardware, avoiding corrosion and rust. Our silver stainless steel hardware and nickel rivets, which is "corrosion resistant" not "rust proof" with proper care, your stainless steel should last a lifetime. We recommend that hardware be frequently cleaned, polished and lubricated with WD-40, especially if exposed frequently to fresh and salt water. It is not recommended to leave the equipment to dry in the sun as Ultra-Violet radiation accelerates the natural oxidation and darkening of the hardware.
I WAS WRONG WITH THE SIZE. CAN I CHANGE?
It depends! In the case of custom-made or personalized items (e.g. engravings, add-ons, collars, leashes and other accessories with more than one color chosen in a combo) it is not possible to exchange them. However, in almost all cases there is the possibility of adjustment!
Our products are handcrafted to order, make sure the choices and sizes are correct before confirming your purchase.
If a product is eligible for exchange, you must send the item to our facilities. You will be reimbursed through a coupon so you can make your new purchase.

HOW CAN I ADD MY NAME TO A LEASH, HARNESS OR OTHER ACCESSORY?
First, you need to add the product you want to engrave to the cart.
There are two different styles for recording names/contacts:
1. Direct recording on collar, leash, or other;
2. Engraving on a plate to later attach to the collar, leash, or other.
You must add the preferred Add-On to the cart after selecting all the customization options, indicating in the comments which product corresponds to the extra!
